Abbey Telecom makes the right call with Newspoint PR
BLACKBURN based telecommunications system provider, Abbey Telecom, has appointed Cheshire-based specialist hi-tech and telecommunications PR and marketing agency Newspoint PR to handle its trade, technical and business PR account throughout the UK.
"Public Relations is a very important part of our marketing communications strategy and we needed a company who understood our business, customers and markets. After talking to a number of agencies we selected Newspoint because they took time to understand our business and understood the need for vertical market communications," commented Tony Raynor, managing director of Abbey Telecom. "I think that the fact that we immediately warmed to Rob himself played a large part in our choosing Newspoint PR."
Rob Fox of Newspoint, said: "We are really pleased to be appointed by Abbey Telecom. As part of the campaign we will be concentrating on developing media opportunities in vertical market press in conjunction with their business wins. We hope that the relationship with Abbey will be a long and fruitful one and we are really looking forward to getting stuck in."
Newspoint PR was recently relaunched following Robert Fox's return from active service in the Gulf where he worked as the British Army spokesman with the BBC to make the "Fighting the War" TV documentary.
