VascoTrack track new business with Newspoint PR
DEVELOPERS of the world's smallest tracking devices, capable of discretely managing asset movements ranging from consignments of pharmaceuticals to high risk individuals - VascoTrack Ltd - has appointed hi-tech marketing specialist Newspoint Public Relations of Wilmslow as their new marketing partner to assist them in launching their new GPRS tracking device. The device, which is less than 15 mm thick, integrates GPRS, GPS and GSM technologies to provide accurate asset tracking information in over 203 countries.
As part of the project, Newspoint will be assisting Cheshire-based VascoTrack to recruit a new European reseller network through a range of marketing communications activities including public relations, development of online support materials and direct marketing.
Colin Ward, commercial director at VascoTrack commented: "As a fairly new business with limited budgets we were looking for a marketing partner who could understand our business and help us take our new tracking device to market. The team at Newspoint has been instrumental in driving our marketing and enabled us to get ready for a launch in a very short period of time."
He continued: "As our European reseller network grows we will be using Newspoint more and more to support us and also assist our partners."
Director of Newspoint Public Relations, Robert Fox said: "VascoTrack is our third big win in as many months and we are really pleased with the work we are doing for them. Taking a new product and company and understanding what their objectives are, are key to the campaign. The V502 is one of the smallest devices on the market today and we know that it will prove very popular in the asset tracking market. We will now be building on the work we have done and over the next few months help VascoTrack as they grow."
VascoTrack is already a world leader in the design, development and implementation of global monitoring and tracking devices. Based in the UK, the company utilises existing and emerging technologies to develop devices that can be used throughout the world using either GSM or satellite technologies.
Newspoint PR was recently relaunched following Robert Fox's return from active service in the Gulf where he worked as the British Army spokesman with the BBC to make the "Fighting the War" TV documentary.
